Fragrance Revival Reviewed: The Truth About This Perfume Oil

I love wearing perfume, but I hate when my favorite fragrances start to smell old and tired before the bottle is even empty. That’s why I was intrigued when I came across Fragrance Revival – a perfume oil that claims to restore and rejuvenate your expired scents.

The company recommends adding 2-4 drops of Fragrance Revival to 1-2 sprays of your perfume. Simply apply to pulse points as usual. They claim you’ll notice the difference immediately.

Testing out Fragrance Revival on My Shelf of Old Perfumes

To truly put Fragrance Revival to the test, I decided to try it on a variety of perfumes in my collection that ranged from slightly stale to very expired.

The fragrances I tested it on included:

• Light Blue by Dolce & Gabbana – My go-to summer scent, about 2 years old. Smells slightly flat.
• Victoria’s Secret Bombshell – 4 years old, very faded with barely any scent left.
• Marc Jacobs Daisy – 8+ years old. Completely dead – smells like plain alcohol now.
• Clinique Happy – My first ever perfume from high school, expired over 15 years ago.

I also tested Fragrance Revival on a brand new, unused perfume to see its impact:

• Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium – Brand new, only sprayed once to test.

• Very briefly smells ” perfume-like” before fading to alcohol smell

Before Fragrance Revival:

• Full fragrance spectrum present
• Distinct coffee, vanilla, and floral notes
• Rich and complex

After adding 2 drops of Fragrance Revival:

• Enhances overall richness and intensity
• Floral heart notes bloom further
• Base notes intensified with a bolder vanilla-patchouli finish
• Longer lasting scent and sillage

Key Takeaways from My Fragrance Revival Tests

After conducting these tests on old and new fragrances, here are my conclusions about Fragrance Revival:

• It definitely adds back top notes that have faded from perfumes – this helped restore brightness and complexity.
• Works best on fragrances under 5 years old. Could restore fairly well-rounded scent profile.
